Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actress who works in film and TV is most well-known for her roles in films like Rush and Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra was the only child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. When she was 16, she had already been offered a variety of television roles including the lead role in Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Her portrayal of Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue in Downfall (an Oscar-nominated historical war film) was both critically and highly rated commercially.
