Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks was an American actress who is best known for her role as Joan Holloway. She played the character for seven seasons of AMC's classic period show Mad Men from 2007-2015. It earned the actress six Emmy nominations, including best supporting actor and critical praise. Since her time in the industry, which has spanned over two decades, she's been recognized for her role on the legal-drama Kevin Hill comedy series Another Period crime drama the series Tin Star and comedy-crime series Good Girls. The actress is well known for her roles on Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River Neon Demon Strangers Prey at Night Egg, American Woman and The Neon Demon. In addition, she has lent her voice in animated films like From Up on Poppy Hill Toy Story 4 and Scoob!. She began as a fashion model and continued to be a model for several years until she made her television debut in 1999 anthology Undressed. Her first significant role was on the comedy drama Beggars and Choosers following which was also praised for her performance in the popular show Firefly. Esquire Magazine voted her the most gorgeous woman in America and one of the most sexiest women across the globe in the year 2010.
